About Love Coara

Hey Cookie,

The idea of Love Coara sparked during a flare up. I noticed that all my comfort clothes became super uncomfortable. I started playing with different silhouettes, fabrics and trims to figure out what would help with my sensory needs, I realised I can't be the only one cutting off all my tags.

And just like that, Love Coara was born in Cairo, Egypt.

We create pieces that look and feel good. Heavy on the feel.

So where did Coara come from? Coara stands for Cookie and Sara, your two founders. After my cat Cookie passed away, I wasn't ready to let go of the love. I needed a place to keep it alive and here we are.

At Love Coara we don't believe that pretty has to hurt. We believe in wearing pieces that are designed for your sensory needs, not against them. Clothes are meant to fit you, you are not meant to squeeze yourself inside them. We have a strong ethical code, we don't just believe in avoiding harm, we actively try to create a positive impact on our customers, our supply chain and nature. This is why we create slow fashion, our pieces are made of natural fibres that can eventually go back into the land.

With each collection comes a charitable cause. For The Inner Child, it is the Save the Strays Tee by purchasing a t-shirt you get to sponsor a cat's neutering and recovery.
